Indications
Ceftonit is used in cattle to treat bacterial diseases of the respiratory tract caused by Pasteurella haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida and Haemophilus somnus, necrobacillosis caused by Fusobacterium necrophorum and Porphiromonas assacharolytica (Bacteroides melaninogenicus) and acute endometritis.

Restrictions
Contraindications and special instructions:
Hypersensitivity of an animal to ceftiofur or other β-lactam antibiotics. Avoid using
Ceftonit simultaneously with tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, aminoglycosides,
furosemide, and ethacrylic acid.
Withdrawal period:
meat: 8 days
milk: 0 days
